You Can’t Always Get What You Want

Post a Comment

Hey Trader,

So, a couple of nights ago, I decided to grab a sandwich for dinner.

Not just any sandwich, mind you.

I'm talkin' about a fresh made, delicious Philly cheesesteak from a certain national grocery chain that shall remain nameless.

Usually, these guys have the best deli in the business.

Not this time.

My first red flag was when the guy ahead of me took forever to finish up.

But the problem became crystal clear when it was my turn.

If you're tired of waiting in line for better profits, skip ahead to better returns using my secret volume roadmap here.

The guy making my sandwich couldn't have been older than 17.

After a few minutes, he admitted that it was only his second time making a Philly. He was clearly flustered and overwhelmed..

This poor kid couldn't find the mushrooms, cheese, or anything.

It was painful to watch him fumble around to make something that to me seemed super simple.

It was even more painful because I was starving at the time.

As I stood there, holding my heavy basket, listening to my empty stomach rumble louder than my truck, I had two choices.

I could be a jerk and give this kid a hard time when he was clearly struggling…

Or I could be patient and try to help him through the process.

I chose the latter.

We chatted about it being his first week on the job and how he was still learning.

I told him that it was all good, and we all have our first day on the job.

As we chatted, I could see him visibly relax and catch his breath.

We've all been there before… First day on the job, asking out a cute girl or guy, etc.

You're in the middle of the moment, overwhelmed, and it feels like the entire world is watching you and waiting on you to fail.

It's a nerve wracking place to be.

But it goes so much better when we have a little patience with each other.

20 agonizing minutes later, I had my sandwich and was on my way home.

The sandwich wasn't great.

I didn't get exactly what I wanted, but I was able to give this kid what he needed at the time.

Patience and understanding, while he learned something new.

And isn't that the point of being human?

We've all had our first day on the job, and sometimes the learning curve is a little steep.

We also have the power to make someone's day a little better, no matter how small the gesture feels.

Now this is usually the point where I segue into selling you something.

I will say that if you don't have the time, or patience to research the market for great picks every second of every day, you can let my Precision Volume Alerts team and I do the heavy lifting for you.

One of the most valuable things you can do in this world full of negativity and hostility is be a little more patient with your fellow human beings.

It really does go a long way.

Have a great weekend
