| Hi Trader, About a month ago, famed naturalist and biologist Charles Darwin turned 202 years old. Posthumously, of course. You may know Darwin for his Theory of Evolution, among other things. You might have also heard this quote, widely attributed to him: "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one most adaptable to change." Picture a T-Rex, one of the fiercest creatures of the dinosaur age. Those things were 13 feet tall, weighed up to 15,000 pounds, and had teeth the size of your body. Yet all that strength and those teeth didn't stand a chance against a 6-mile-wide meteor crashing into the earth — or the several days of searing heat it generated. But you know what did? Its prey — small mammals that adapted by burrowing underground and hiding in aquatic environments. When they emerged, all that was left to eat were bugs and aquatic plants, so they shifted their diets accordingly. And guess what? In trading, it's the same way. It's not the smartest trader that wins… Nor is it the most experienced trader. Instead, it's the one that can adapt to changing market conditions. And the best way to stay agile and adaptable?
