Sometimes you have three, four, five trades in a row - and nothing is working. That was the first hour of trading for me today. But then, if you're patient, sometimes you get a break. That was the second hour of trading for me today. TRADE OF THE DAY: FLGC Early this morning, FLGC was set to be my top stock of the day. But then, when the market opened, it just sort of fell down. And didn't have much volume. But a couple of hours later, it came to life. And that was good, because I'd already banked a frustrating loss on AHPI (jumped, I bought it, fell, I sold it, jumped again, I bought it, fell again, I sold it - all of them small losses but still frustrating). You know I love volume. I love it when a stock is breaking out and volume is increasing - it shows that the higher it goes, the more traders want that stock. Sometimes that volume comes after a stock picks itself up off the floor. That's what FLGC did today. At point #1, the stock fell at the open. At point #2 on the chart below, the stock bottomed out - but I wasn't ready to test a buy trade. And then at point #3 - the volume spiked, and it started breaking higher. It's at point #3 that I bought 1,000 shares for myself. And I'm still holding them now - and as I'm writing these words the stock is breaking higher still. Could be a good one today.
