Apr 30, 2022 Spin Control Image Source: Business Insider According to US intelligence authorities, the Federal Bureau of Investigation performed up to 3.4 million searches on Americans' computer data without a warrant last year. The information was made public as part of the Director of National Intelligence's Annual Statistical Transparency Report. When Section 702 is up for renewal at the end of the year, privacy groups will be keen to point to the 3.4 million searches statistic in an attempt to get it repealed. And while government officials claim the searches are legal per Section 702, the Constitution clearly says otherwise.
