Durham contended that the records are critical to his case against Sussmann. Sussmann is accused of lying to the FBI about information linking then-presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign to the Kremlin-linked Alfa Bank. The CIA found that Sussmann's alleged proof against Trump was not "technically plausible," Durham asserted. But the records should be kept secret, if you ask Hillary and the DNC. Durham is attempting to establish that Sussmann was operating on behalf of the Democratic Party and the Clinton campaign in secret when he lied to the FBI.
