However, this isn't the first occasion that confidential material regarding Supreme Court proceedings has been released. During the original Roe decision's discussions, there were many leaks, the first of which was a letter on internal debates that was released to the Washington Post. And the case's final verdict was leaked to Time Magazine before it was made public.
