Following the publication of a draft judgment that might overturn Roe v. Wade, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., called on the Justice Department to investigate protesters who have been threatening Supreme Court Justices.
The demonstrations, according to McConnell, broke federal law, namely Section 1507 of the Criminal Conduct Code, which deems protesting to influence a judge a federal offense.
Protests have erupted around the country in the days after the release of the Supreme Court decision draft, including in front of the Capitol and even at the residences of justices.
The Department of Justice, on the other hand, has kept quiet, indicating that it has no intention of enforcing the law.
And that's a move right out of the liberal playbook. They ignore the law when it suits their agenda.
