Hello Trader,
Three University of California mathematicians showed that Joe Granville could predict the Dow Jones Average!
One of them, Ed Thorpe, is a friend of mine.
They published their results in the Spring 1982 issue of the Journal of Portfolio Management.
Joe had made himself very famous with a series of dramatic and accurate calls on the market that actually ended up moving the market. He was that powerful in the market.
Joe agreed to be tested by the mathematicians. This is totally unheard of! Most newsletter writers want to hide their results because they are so bad. But Joe gave them access to all of his archives so they could reconstruct his track record.
They bought the Dow when he said to buy and sold short when he said to sell short. The results were astounding!
He dramatically outperformed everybody, including such legends as Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch. They showed that his margin account would have showed an average of 56% return! Amazing!
The researchers then examined the indicators that he used. Some of them were useless. They had no predictive value.
But one technique stood out in Joe's arsenal: on-balance volume which we call the Purple Predictor.
This study by the mathematicians is highly unusual because there are few studies done like this. And then to find that Joe's techniques were that powerful is amazing!
Our new course is all about this powerful indicator. It tells you what it is and how to use it. Fortunately, I was able to learn about it directly from Joe himself while he was still alive.
This course dives deep into the indicator and how to make money from it.
I went into detail yesterday about what is in the course so check out that email for more info.
