At first, I thought it was an illusion.
There's no way it could be real.
It's way too early.
But there they were…
Six or seven bright yellow leaves at the very tip top of the tall aspen.
A sign of change coming.
The change that happens every year.
Autumn.
In this canyon, the walls are extremely high.
Which means there is not a lot of sunlight that hits these aspen trees.
And it's the amount of sunlight they get that determines when the leaves change color.
But here it was, late August, and it was already happening.
I've been in this cabin by the river in this canyon for two months, and the time flew by.
Seeing those bright yellow leaves made me think about how time really does sneak past you.
There are more yellow leaves changing on the aspens now.
It's time for me to leave also. This summer in this cabin has been amazing.
There are changes I want to make myself during this season of change.
Smoke fewer cigars. Eat less red meat. Take less risk on my trades.
What could you change for the better right now?
Healthier? Wealthier? Better at trading?
Take a few minutes and think about what you could change.
The stock market is going to change… a lot in the next year.
I expect it, and I welcome it — just like the seasons.
You can start your change right now too.
Start by changing the way you trade and focus on getting good at one strategy that can carry you through all the market changes.
Like a strategy that takes advantage of time decay.
Because time flies.
Trade Well,
