There's another hot IPO trading opportunity!   We're talking about trading right now. Not investing. Just to be clear.   You'll figure out why in just a second …    A trade is a quick transaction to capitalize on extreme volatility. Sometimes they last a few minutes, sometimes a few days. But this isn't a buy-and-hold scenario.   To profit, traders need to find the right stocks. And the best way to start is to focus on hot sectors.   One of the hottest right now is IPOs.   When a stock goes public, it's the first time anyone's able to buy and sell shares. There's a lot of volatility right out of the gate.   That's the volatility that traders look for.   For example, one of the hottest IPOs this year was AMTD Digital Inc. (NYSE: HKD). It spiked +19,000% in less than a month … here's the chart. Notice where the price peaked and where it is now. That's why this isn't a buy-and-hold scenario.   These stocks can spike like crazy, but you never know when they'll crash. So focus on trading the best patterns.   There's a new IPO today that's spiking. It's called Mobilicom Ltd Ads (NASDAQ: MOB). Here's the exciting part … the business operates in a hot sector.   It's a cybersecurity firm that works with drones and autonomous platforms.   The price spiked +20% already today. How To Trade The TSLA Split If you're new …    Here are the split details.   There are theoretically a lot of ways you could trade this stock.   But we're going to outline one of the safest ways to think about it.   This is by no means a 100% home run. Anything can happen at any time. But this strategy prepares for possible failure. That's why we like it …    Let's use Tesla Inc.'s (NASDAQ: TSLA) past split as an example.   Something to keep in mind while we compare … TSLA's first split was 5 - 1. Yesterday's was 3 - 1. It means there are more shares in the market, but the first split was definitely bigger.   So the reaction to yesterday's split might not be as volatile.   Here's a chart of the first split. We circled where the event occurred … The lines are support and resistance. They're common tools used by traders to identify areas a stock might trade between.   The top line (resistance) is set when the price peaked in late August before the split. The bottom line (support) is set by resistance from July and confirmed by the price dip in early September.   As a trader, a popular strategy is to buy above support (as close as possible), once it's confirmed, and hold for a breakout over resistance.   If the trade fails and no breakout happens, the plan is to cut the loss once it breaks the support line.   Make sense?   Now, let's use that information for the most recent split. Here's a chart …  We circled the split again. Resistance was set in August, that's the top line.   We drew a support line at $250. It's a good example of resistance from June to July.
