The movie Rounders starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton, is chock-full of wisdom that can be applied to trading.
For example, there is a line in the movie from Damon's character that goes:
"Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you ARE the sucker."
This is why I don't bother trading large-cap blue-chip stocks.
