AMZN and AAPL will never make moves like this

Good morning early birds!

The 'case study' for small-cap stocks.

Peter Lynch is one of the most successful and well-known investors of all time.

In his book – Learn to Earn, he discusses why you should invest in small-cap stocks instead of large-cap.

"Over time, it's been more profitable to invest in small companies than in large companies. The successful small companies of today will become the Wal-Marts, Home Depots, and Microsofts of tomorrow. It's no wonder then that funds that invest in small companies (the so-called small-caps) have beaten out the "large-cap" funds by a substantial margin. If you have a strong stomach and can take the bumps and stay on the ride, you'll likely do better in small-caps."

I'm not talking about illiquid, OTC trades. I have strict criteria for how to spot small-caps with the biggest upside over a few days' time.

"BZFD has news with Facebook and a range to the low $2's before major resistance. This needs to hold $1.20 support, so that's the stop, and if it can hang onto $1.50, I think $1.90-$2.10 is in the cards."

$.89-$4.25 surge across 2-days is a 378% on plan to use ChatGPT parent OpenAI for content.

AMZN went up a trivial 12% in the same period.

"GNS is a very risky stock but if it holds $1.50's this could make a move to $3. With very risky gap trade ideas I teach smaller position sizes, the goal is a bigger % gain if it works. Stop loss here is $1.40's, goal is for it to hug $2 this afternoon and pivot to the $3's. The company has 23.3 months of cash left based on quarterly cash burn of -$2.25M and estimated current cash of $17.5M. Risk of an offering is low according to Dilution Tracker."

$.51-$6.28 across 3-days is a 1,131% mega naked short squeeze.

AAPL went up a scanty 7% in the same period.

Let's recap.

Buzzfeed surged 378% while Amazon rose 12%.

Genius went supernova 1,131% while Apple rose 7%.

Peter Lynch's Magellan Fund at Fidelity earned more than twice the S&P 500.

So when he says, "It's more profitable to invest in small-caps" I'm all ears.
