Most Stocks Die … Here’s How You Can Win

Post a Comment

Dear Loyal Reader,

Mike and I looked at some shocking statistics in yesterday’s Banyan Edge Podcast.

We looked at the 1,500 stocks in the S&P 1500, which covers 90% of the U.S. stock market.

These are the biggest stocks in the market.

And yet, since the bottom of the dot-com bust, only 41% of the stocks on the index back then are still on the index today.

These statistics highlighted something Mike covered in last week’s “Silicon Shakeout” talk.

Most stocks die.

That’s why Mike says it is much easier to spot the stock market’s LOSERS than its winners.

And that’s exactly what he plans to do this year.

Mike says investors who can spot some of the market’s biggest losers could actually see some of the year’s biggest profits.
