I suspect there’s more praying than planning happening on trading desks because even raising the debt ceiling creates another round of problems for banks hoping anything stems the outgoing tide of deposits.   Fewer bank deposits means less money, less lending, and more pain. But equity markets continue to march higher as I guess every analyst is now pricing in an A.I. revolution over the next 12 months.
