The rules will take effect sometime around July 2024.
We're more than a year out. That should give companies enough time to restructure and prepare for the new structure.
It also gives time for countries like the U.S. to get on board.
Speaking of which, the SEC just responded to Coinbase's request for clarification.
"Coinbase's preference for faster or different regulatory action by the commission does not entitle it to extraordinary relief from this court. The petition should be denied."
