The Weekend Trading Revolution
For most traders, the weekend is a time to relax and recharge. After all, the markets are closed, so there's no point in sitting in front of a screen.
But for a select few, the weekend is a time to make money.
Thanks to a relatively recent rule change by the CBOE, it's now possible for traders to enter a certain type of trade on Friday and exit on Monday.
For these traders, this results in a lopsided reward ratio — basically grabbing three days worth of benefit for only one day's risk of exposure to the market's price fluctuations.
I’m calling this my “Weekend Side Hustle” And for good reason: It's opening up a whole new world of possibilities for traders who are willing to discover this new type of trade.
For one, it allows traders the opportunity to make money when the markets are usually closed for business, which is already a huge win.
But more importantly, the lopsided reward ratio that I mentioned before is really the key to this trade.
See, by entering on a Friday, traders who have learned to exploit this new rule change are getting paid for taking on 3 days worth of risk (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).
But — this is the crucial part — we all know that the market doesn’t move on Saturdays and Sundays…
Which means that these traders are really only taking on one day’s worth of risk.
If the significance of that hasn’t hit you, read it again, because it’s THAT important.
It’s the kind of edge some traders spend a lifetime chasing.
