Precious Metals When inflation is the talking point, precious metals become important. The FOMC meets on July 26. We are looking at a near certainty of a rate hike. The CME FedWatch Tool shows 97.3% target rate probability at 5.25-5.50. Media speculation on the actions of the Fed has been consistently more dovish than the actual FOMC.
