As we’ve reported in these pages before. It pays to listen to Jeffry. He’s not perfect, but he does tend to get it right more often than he gets it wrong. Just remember the most important thing: Control your risk and never invest more than you’re willing to lose. Enjoy and trade safe! — The Prosperity Pub Team JEFFRY TURNMIRE [Beta Test] Spot Short-Term Market Reversals Before Anyone Else VVD is a brand-new trading indicator that I’m releasing as a beta test to a limited number of users. I custom-coded it myself to guide my own trading. And it’s taken me a year to get it to the point where it is now. If I have your attention… Sound interesting? Read below to find out more about how it works. And how you can get in on the beta test. VVD stands for Volume Velocity Divergence. I know, the first piece of Beta feedback I’m probably going to get is that I should have chosen a name that was easier to pronounce (or remember.) That aside, VVD uses price and volume data to help traders identify potential short-term market reversals. This means that VVD can help traders find great potential trade opportunities before other traders can spot them. But it’s not just another volume-based indicator. VVD works by looking at the amount of participants in the market, rather than just the volume of trading. This is important because it can help traders identify when retail traders are getting trapped in a trade and about to get "smacked." When institutions step in and trap the retail traders, this can create a big move in the market that VVD can help traders identify ahead of time. VVD gives traders both an entry and a target for their trades. The entry is the price where traders should place their trade, and the target is the price that traders should try to hit. VVD works on both bullish and bearish reversals. Here is an example of how VVD can be used to identify a short-term market reversal: Let's say that the price of a stock is going up. VVD will look at the amount of participants in the market and see that there are more buyers than sellers. This means that the stock is in a bullish trend. However, if VVD sees that the amount of participants is starting to decrease, this could be a sign that the trend is about to reverse. If VVD sees two or more of these divergences, this is a signal that a short-term market reversal is likely. Why Use VVD? There are a few reasons why traders should use VVD. First, VVD can help traders identify short-term market reversals. This can be a great way to find potential trading opportunities before other traders do. Second, VVD is easy to use. The indicator is simple to set up and understand, and it can be used on TradingView, using their free tier. (no need to pay for a TradingView account if you don’t already have one) Third, VVD is accurate. I built VVD myself to guide my own trading, so you know I put everything I have into it. And lastly, it’s only going to get better. This is a beta test because I want to have a pool of highly engaged users giving me feedback on problems they find, so I can fix them and make this indicator better than it already is. If you think you’d like to sign up for the beta test, click here to join me for a live info session tomorrow, Friday July 21st @ 1pm Eastern. Hope to see you there, — Jeffry Turnmire |
