Yesterday continued my hot streak for three days in a row…    Three days of calling out some of the top-performing stocks in the market — and handing out winning trade plans for traders to take advantage of them.    But even though those trades have come and gone (you can get my next alert here)...   You can still learn from them. So today I am breaking down the three stocks, the criteria that made them hot opportunities, and why my trade plans worked.    You'll notice these stocks have some things in common that you can take with you when looking for your next trade…  Three Days, Three Winners On Tuesday I alerted Axcella Health Inc. (NASDAQ: AXLA) as my number one watch. Here's what I like about it:   It had the best pre-market setup Had news Hot sector (biotech with COVID news) Kind of a low-float stock Trading good volume Had a decent breakout on the daily chart I didn't love that it was a true penny stock. But it's the end of August and it's only degenerate true penny stockers trading right now while everyone else enjoys the end of summer.   So you have to take what the market gives you.    My plan for AXLA included an entry at 39 cents with risk at 35 cents and a goal of 55 cents.    The stock didn't hit my goal until after hours, but still made a nice 25% move. (NASDAQ: NAOV) in premarket.    It's a medical device company that announced positive study results for its device to reduce UTIs.    So it had news … It also had float rotation, it's a former runner, and it had a low float (The company did an offering that afternoon so the float is different now.)   I didn't love the chart history, so my plan only included a 1:2 risk to reward which was not ideal. But we take what the market gives us on slow days…    My plan was an entry at $2.50 with risk at $2.25 and a goal of $3.    But NAOV blasted through my goal and hit a high of $4.23. (NASDAQ: ACER).    It's another biotech stock that had positive news and a low float with high volume. The news headline was confusing, but it had cheap locates to lure in the short sellers…   That's why my plan was to watch for a weak open and a reclaim of the high of the day. My entry signal was $1.21 with risk at $1.06, and a goal of $1.59.    And that's what it did…  ACER chart: 1-day, 5-minute candle courtesy of StocksToTrade.com What Do All These Stocks Have In Common?   Here's what these stocks had in common so you know what to look for this morning and into the near future…   You can see that all three stocks had news in the morning — one of the criteria we like to look for every premarket…    They also had low floats and high trading volume.    But there's more…    All three are in the healthcare industry. AXLA and ACER are biotech stocks and NAOV is a medical device company.    They were all on Oracle… They all had dip and rips and they all ended up being one-day runners.    They offered opportunities in the morning on the press release, then they faded off.
