| | While the SPY and QQQ have taken a little breather this week, their small-cap cousin, IWM, keeps powering higher. | I always say if you want to find the easiest way to trade… go with the trend, not against it. | Right now, the trend is clearly moving in favor of smaller, momentum-driven stocks. | And I love it! That is my favorite place to take new trades right now. | Just today, we saw over 20 new stocks make a whopping 30% move or more! | | Most traders are sitting around a whole year waiting for a 30% move, and we're seeing it happen on a daily basis with smaller stocks lately. | Even Yahoo is letting me know it's time to look at this sector. I just got this email from them this afternoon with a pile of stocks to look at that had already made big moves… | | Sorry, Yahoo. I am not looking for stocks that have already made big moves… I want to find them before it happens! | Today's idea didn't work out quite as I hoped, but it is only one day. That stock did make a 200% move lately, so I am still going to keep my eye on it for the next advance. | When it comes to these types of stocks, I don't like to give them a lot of "wiggle room." | If they work out, I am looking for quick 10%, 20%, maybe even 50% moves. | But if they don't, I usually keep my stop-loss tight and move on quick if it doesn't work out. | In a market like this, I think it pays for me to take lots of shots and not get too involved with any single idea for too long unless the trend just keeps marching higher, of course. | So, tomorrow, I will be right back at it with a brand new idea. | I wanted to go with a stock that has been very active lately but outside of the tech sector. | Natural resource stocks fit the bill. They have been beaten up recently but are just now starting to recover. | Some of them are making very sharp reversals higher. | Just like this new stock that I am going to share with you tomorrow @ 8:30am EST (be on the lookout!) | Look at this chart.
