One representing the day's low price and the other showing the day's high price. | From there, if SPY price action breaks below the low of day white line (in this case at $517.92, then I would look for a put trade idea and price action to drop lower. | If we break above the top ORB line at $520.54 then the theory is to look for calls and price action to move higher. | ORB is great because it allows you to watch the first 15 minutes of trading before making an educated decision on where SPY price action might go. | Sure, it's not 100% accurate and as traders we know nothing is, but it sure is a very helpful tool for Market Navigator members. | So, how did today's lesson work out? | Well, as you can see below, once SPY broke above the top ORB line at $520.54, triggering a possible "call" trade idea, SPY took off and is now up over $6 dollars higher as I type this up. | | $6 dollar move on SPY could be a HUGE jump for SPY calls. | Let's say for example you jumped into calls valued at $6 dollars and let's say for this example the delta on those calls was $.60 cents. A $6 move up could mean a possible $3.20 jump on those calls or a $6 entry and a $9+ exit! | BOOM baby 50% potential on the example above. | Personally I wouldn't look to hold for a 50% winner but just trying to get some meat from the bone or maybe 10 to 20% would be ideal.
