Dear Reader,
I presume you know by now that cryptocurrencies have been soaring.
You probably also know that they're beating all major asset classes by a wide margin.
Plus, you're probably aware that quite a few people are making big money in Bitcoin even as we speak.
What you (and they) may not be aware of are these three critical facts:
Fact #1. Central banks are starting to print money again in a big way, and among them, the largest banks in Asia seem to be leading the way.
This may help explain why scared money is often rushing into Bitcoin on Sunday nights, New York time: That's precisely when trading opens in Shanghai and Tokyo.
More importantly, this means that the newest surge in Bitcoin is not a one-and-done event. It's driven by the most powerful and sustainable monetary force known to modern finance: wild, unbridled government money printing.
Fact #2. Years ago, when central banks printed money, investors moved into gold. Nowadays, they usually prefer Bitcoin, widely considered "Gold 2.0."
Like gold, it's immutable. Unlike gold, there are no storage or shipment costs.
And unlike gold, it's soaring.
In 2023, for example, gold rose 12.7%. But Bitcoin surged 156%.
That's 13x more.
Fact #3. In nearly all crypto bull markets like this one, soon after Bitcoin surges, other cryptos follow, usually with greater percentage gains.
That was certainly the pattern we saw in 2023:
While Bitcoin rose 13x more than gold, lesser-known cryptos meriting our Weiss "buy" ratings did far, FAR better.
THORchain, for example, was up 327%, outperforming gold 26-to-1.
Fetch.AI was up 718%, beating gold 56-to-1.
Tellor jumped 1,430%, trouncing gold 113-to-1. And ...
Injective skyrocketed by a whopping 2,941%.
It beat the crap out of gold - to the tune of 232-to-1.
If you had invested $10,000 in the GLD (the largest gold ETF) you could have seen a gain of $1,270.
But if you had put the same $10,000 into Injective, you could have made $294,124.
Instead of just $1,270, you'd have $294,124.
Big difference.
But I'm afraid you're missing most of these opportunities.
To end that now, watch our urgent session on seven new crypto wonders.
Best wishes,
Juan Villaverde, Editor Weiss Crypto Investor |
