Humans are already living a lot longer than they used to thanks to many factors, from basics like improvements to food, water, and shelter to spectacular advancements in medical care and technology. As a result, there is a massive and growing need for health care products and services, and we’re spending more and more money on them – $4.5 trillion in the U.S. alone in 2022. This makes health care one of my two favorite long-term businesses on Earth and an area ripe with wealth-building opportunities.
