We're thrilled to announce The GIST's Major League Baseball Bracket Challenge!

Following the excitement of our Women's Pro Basketball Bracket Challenge, we're bringing the same fun and competitive spirit to the World Series. Now's your chance to prove your Major League Baseball expertise and compete against friends, family, and fellow GISTers for bragging rights and amazing prizes.

This is The GIST's first-ever bracket challenge for a pro men's league — because fandom shouldn't be an old boys' club. Whether you're a lifelong baseball fan or just in it for the excitement of the Fall Classic, this challenge is for you!

⚾ HOW IT WORKS

Pick your winners for each round of the MLB playoffs. For each matchup, you will also predict how many games the series will last. You can enter up to three brackets.
Earn points for every series winner you pick correctly. The value increases per round (Wild Card Series are worth 2 Points, Division Series (aka quarter-finals) are worth 4 Points, League Championship Series (aka semifinals) are worth 6 Points, and the World Series is worth 8 Points). An additional 5 points will also be added if you guess the winner and series length correctly.
The contestant who predicts the combined final score of the World Series–winning game will receive an additional 5 points.
The deadline to submit a bracket is Wednesday, October 2 at 2:32 p.m. ET, before the first Wild Card series matchup begins.
