One of those charts is cybersecurity company Fortinet (FTNT). Fortinet is an American cybersecurity company that was founded in 2000. It first became profitable in 2008, and recently acquired Next DLP in 2024, which is a cloud based DLP provider company for an undisclosed amount. There are several reasons I like FTNT right now for a trade into earnings. First, it currently has an A+ squeeze on the daily chart, so the potential for a big move is there. It also has earnings coming up on Feb. 6, which gives us another catalyst. But while earnings can be a catalyst – nobody knows if a stock is going to go up or down on earnings day.
