| DAILY ISSUE In Today’s Masters in Trading: Live The stock market is breathing a collective sigh of relief… Yesterday, the Trump administration issued a 90-day pause on much of its “Liberation Day” tariff onslaught. After all was said and done, only China made it out worse with a 125% tariff hike. Now the markets are in the mood for a little celebration. But the latest tariff flip-flop hasn’t changed much about the market’s fundamentals… Yesterday’s relief rally is fading fast. And the markets are broadly angling lower as I write to you. All this tariff-bred uncertainty will spark a lot more market chaos around the world. That means volatility is still our best long-term investing theme from here. I’ve been keeping an eye out for trades that play on the chaotic macro-economic environment this new tariff regime has created… That covers a whole slew of ETFs that allow us to capitalize on low implied volatility and “gappy” behavior in foreign markets. We’ve already witnessed the power of these trades over the last few weeks. Our most recent play on the iShares Msci Brazil ETF (EWZ) helped us lock in solid double- and triple-digit gains to benefit from a massive divergence brewing between Mexican and Brazilian stocks.
