Just to recap, I want you to take a second look at this chart:
That chart is showing us that we’ve entered a new trading environment, one not seen since the bearish year of 2022.
Volatility is extremely high, and the S&P 500 is moving up or down at least 2% almost one of every four days this year so far.
So this week, we’re laser-focused on talking about strategies for trading volatility.
And today, I want to direct you to a resource from about a month ago that I want to make sure everyone pays attention to.
At the start of April, we launched a new monthly show called “First Saturday,” a roundtable with our trading experts designed to give everyone a roadmap for the month ahead.
At the time, the markets were in full panic mode, and it transformed from a planning roundtable into a very actionable “tariff chaos” roundtable.
I was joined by Jack Carter, Kane Shieh, and Tom Busby, and these three trading geniuses put on an absolute clinic, calming everyone’s nerves and giving their best advice for trading during times of elevated volatility.
Even though the markets aren’t quite the same as they were back then, I really think there isn’t any better resource for you to spend some time watching, to get a taste for what to do during these volatile markets.
