Hello! Couldn't get enough of last month's college basketball bracket challenges? Then we have a treat for you. The race for the most prestigious trophy in all of men's hockey is upon us, and you can be a part of the magic with The GIST's very own, completely free Pro Men's Hockey Bracket Challenge. Ice, ice, baby. - It doesn't matter if you're a hockey novice or the game's biggest fan — these challenges are for every GISTer, no expertise required.
- There's something special about having personal stakes in the postseason, regardless of the sport, especially when you're playing with the incredible GIST community.
And it's not just good vibes on the line. We're also giving out bragging rights and prizes for the top three brackets. |
⚙️ How to play: - If this is your first time filling out a bracket with The GIST, welcome! Create an account to get started. If you've filled out a bracket with us before, simply sign in.
- From there, navigate to the "Make Your Picks" page. Select your winners for every best-of-seven series by clicking on the team you think will advance.
- Points are awarded for every correct pick, with values increasing each round: 1 point per correct first-round pick, 2 points in the second round, 4 points for the Conference Finals, and 6 points for the Finals.
- Any GISTer who predicts the combined final score of the championship-winning game (Team 1's total points + Team 2's total points) will receive an additional 5 points.
Submit your bracket. Since the puck drops on the playoffs tonight (!!!), we're extending the deadline to Monday, April 21st at 5 p.m. ET, so you can watch some Game 1 action before locking in your picks. Hey, rules are meant to be broken. |
🤑 What's at stake: - The top three brackets will win airline gift cards, and the winner will receive a shoutout in The GIST's newsletters, socials, and podcast. Framed screenshot not included.
That's it! We'll remind you to lock in your picks before the first round officially begins, and you can check our Sports News newsletter for bracket updates. Yes, it's that easy. |
Good luck! Love always, The GIST Team |
