Click here to view as Webpage MARKET PULSE SPY and QQQ continue their familiar pattern of grinding higher, with every pullback quickly bought, often pushing prices toward new all-time highs. The picture looks different for IWM (Russell 2000), representing small-cap U.S. stocks. The index is now at a critical juncture, testing a key resistance level first established in 2021 and revisited most recently in November 2024. The question is whether prices will bounce again, as they did last year, or finally break through. While there was a moderate bounce last week, the outcome remains uncertain as prices grind back toward this level. Meanwhile, Gold (GLD) continues to climb but is increasingly stretched. Oil remains locked in a choppy, sideways range. Bitcoin has defended its crucial support near 110k and has since bounced, potentially setting up for another attempt at its all-time highs around 124k. TRADE OF THE WEEK Amazon (AMZN), one of the Magnificent Seven stocks, has been in a long-term uptrend as indicated by our MA Rush indicator. After a sharp rally in early September that pushed the stock toward key resistance near its all-time highs, it pulled back decisively. The stock is now trading at a key support level (as per our Liquidity IQ indicator). We view this as a compelling opportunity to scale into a long position and accumulate AMZN at a discounted price. This is especially attractive given the earnings forecast, which places the stock at a decade-low price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 29.7. This setup is further reinforced by our Trend Radar indicator, which highlights a healthy pullback within the broader uptrend. This trade was identified using the Liquidity View Dashboard.
