Ready to play ball? Sweater season and baseball's postseason go hand in hand, just like you and The GIST's second annual, free-to-enter Pro Baseball Bracket Challenge. Whether you're a diehard fan or just here for the hot dogs, this challenge is for everyone — no expertise required. 🤔 Why you should play: Join in to cheer for your favorites, compete against friends, family, and other GISTers, and maybe even snag some bragging rights (and prizes) along the way. Trust us, it's even more fun to watch the postseason action when you have some skin in the game — and when you're watching with thousands of fellow GISTers.

Make Your Picks

⚙️ How to play:
If this is your first time filling out a bracket with The GIST, welcome! Create an account, and you'll be good to go. If you've filled out a bracket previously, simply sign in. Navigate to the "Make your picks" page and select your winners for each round of the playoffs by clicking on the team you think will advance. You can enter up to three brackets — but make sure you fill them out completely. Points are awarded for every winner you pick correctly. The value increases per round (Wild Card round is worth 2 points each, Divisional Series are worth 4 points each, Championship Series are worth 6 points each, and the World Series is worth 8 points). Any GISTer who predicts the combined final score of the championship-winning game (Team 1's total points + Team 2's total points) will receive an additional 5 points.
