Dear Reader,
Christmas is a good time to slow down.
The market is closed today, so we can take a rare moment to step back and appreciate what actually matters.
I want to take this moment to say thank you.
Thank you for reading The Daily Disruptor. Thank you for your curiosity, your trust and your willingness to think differently about where technology — and the world — is heading.
This has been a remarkable year. We’ve watched artificial intelligence move from promise to practice. We’ve seen geopolitics, energy, the digital economy and capital markets collide in ways that would have sounded impossible just a few years ago.
And through it all, my goal has stayed the same: to help you understand what’s changing, why it matters and how to stay one step ahead.
Over the holidays, I hope you get to spend time with people you care about. I hope you also take time to reflect. And maybe even take a little time to imagine what your next chapter could look like.
Because the next year is shaping up to be anything but ordinary.
I’m grateful to have you on this journey with me.
Regards,
Ian King Chief Strategist, Banyan Hill Publishing
