It's the most wonderful time of the year!
The best part of the women's college and men's college basketball national tournaments? Filling out a bracket and contributing to the magic of March. That's why we're inviting you to The GIST's very own, completely free women's and men's college basketball bracket challenges. Slay. It doesn't matter if you're a first-timer or if you've majored in bracketology — these challenges are for every GISTer, no expertise required. There may be a one-in-9.2 quintillion chance of creating a perfect bracket, but there's a 100% chance of having a ball and supporting women in sports. And it's not just good vibes on the line. We're also giving out bragging rights and prizes for the top three brackets.

⚙️ How to play:
If this is your first time filling out a bracket with The GIST, welcome! Create an account to get started. If you've filled out a bracket with us previously, simply sign in. From there, navigate to the "Make Your Picks" page for each challenge. Select your winners for every round by clicking on the team you think will advance. You can enter up to three brackets for the women's challenge and three for the men's. Points are awarded for each correct pick, with values increasing each round: 1 point per correct first-round pick, 2 points in the second round, 4 points in the third, 6 points for the quarter-finals, 8 points for the semifinals, and 10 points for the national championship game. Any GISTer who predicts the combined final score of the championship-winning game (Team 1's total points + Team 2's total points) will receive an additional 5 points. Submit your men's bracket by Thursday, March 19th at 12 p.m. ET. Your women's bracket is due Friday, March 20th at 12 p.m. ET.
